Bulgarian and Iranian Nabbed for Amphetamines Possession

Sofia. A Bulgarian citizen E.T. (54) and an Iranian citizen S.L. (39) were arrested late on Monday while driving their car Ford Escort in possession of drugs, the press center of Interior Ministry announced.
24 packages of half kg each with pills with pink color were found in a sack on the back seat of the car. The investigation proved that the men had taken the drugs from another car parked in Ovcha Kupel residential area shortly before being held. The drugs were intended for the Middle East. The policemen also found 1 kg of amphetamine samples in the car.
This is the second arrest of E.T. and he is investigated for drug trafficking. The man was arrested on 3rd February 2004 when 26 kg of amphetamine were found in his home in Sveta Troytsa residential area in Sofia.
